PPKUKM Sub-agency Surveys 42 IKMs Participating in PKP Certification Program

Thousand Islands Industry, Trade, Cooperative, and Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency conducted survey to 42 coached small medium industries (IKM)s that participated for Food Safety Counseling (PKP) certification.

We also educate the participants about food safety

Thousand Islands PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Melinda Sagala conveyed, survey was carried out with Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency through inspection from the production process, tools usage, workers, and supporting facilities for cleanliness.

"We also educate the participants about food safety that has been given during the coaching," she said, Monday (8/24).

3,000 People Participate in Virtual Flour-Based Food Processing Training

Not only educating coached IKMs thus they can implement food safety in making their product, this survey was also conducted to give recommendation to PTSP for Household Industry Food Certificate (PIRT) issuance.

"Health Sub-agency will send recommendation to PTSP for PIRT certificate issuance. For those who haven't implemented 100 percent of good production methods, they must show the improvements within maximum two weeks," she stated.
